Danelectro DO1 DaddyO Distortion Pedal
Three tone controls on this tube amp allows the user to dial-in hollow midrange and other sought-after sounds. Very smooth range of distortion density. One of the best selling pedals in the world. Used by top pros on many recent recordings.
Quality:
It's made of very solid materials (metal), I just fear the day my foot slips and wipes out all the little plastic knobs at the top...
Value:
I wouldn't pay over $55 for it.
Desirability:
I feel this product will cause few riots with it's appeal, but it's useful to the many of us who can't aford a combo tube amp.
Sound:
It's a cheap alternative to not playing through a tube amp.
Support:
never had to deal with Danelectro.
Overall:
There are better tube pedals out there (electro harmonix Black Finger, which uses acctual vacuum tubes in the pedal), but for the price, it's quite good.
